I would like to thank the Prestigious Speaker Toastmasters club for providing me the opportunity to deliver a speech yesterday. The environment at PS is alway fun and energetic. I think there is a lot of value that is offered by speaking at the other clubs. People call it either "getting out of your comfort zone" or "stepping outside of your box". In either case it truly heightens the Toastmasters experience. Tobias evaluation was SPOT ON. And I gratefully appreciate his ability to give strong and clear feedback. The additional written feedback was super as well.
From club support efforts, I have to thank Marie for her amazing skill as Toastmaster for the evening. Her organization and proactive approach was simply graceful and flawless. She reached out to me in advance to make sure I was prepared and to review any additional requirements I may need. I have to admit this proactive measure scared me, as this act of professionalism caught me off guard, even as a Toastmaster.
Alvaro did a great job to ensure my presentation was ready for the evening. Many thanks to that. As a side note, Ignasi's Table Topics session was completely AWESOME!
As you know the members of PS are more than welcome to speak at BCN Pride, and I encourage them to take that opportunity. They can reach out to me or Cormac to schedule. They can also make a request via Easy Speak. If they do not want to speak, they are also encouraged to fill any other role as well in accordance with the Competent Leadership track.
